Big Things Coming....
There are so many big things coming, but the biggest is the chance to help out those children of families that lost
everything in the Montgomery fires. It will be another two show day a couple of hours drive apart, but so worth it.
I will provide more details later - stay tuned...

The Waiting is the Hardest Part
Tom Petty sure had it right. This waiting stuff is for the birds! I have the radio ready copy of "Out On the Scene" in hand right now and have to sit on it
until the release date of October 29th. For those of you who know me - I am not a patient man ...

"Out On the Scene" About to Hit the Streets and New "In Heaven" Rough Acoustic Version On the Site...
I got the rough mix back of "Out On the Scene" and everything sounds awesome except for couple of vocal parts that I want to recut.
Hopefully, this song can be out on the scene pretty soon. I also just put a new song I wrote a couple of days ago on the website.
The recording is very rough because I was just trying to get the feel of how I want it to sound, but I promised some of you that I
would do a quick recording to get opinions. This song was written for my mother on her first birthday in Heaven and also for a friend
who is fading in his battle with cancer too. Hope you like it and a studio version will be coming...

Back In the Mix...
This has not been the easiest couple of weeks with my mother passing and having a birthday a few days later without her here,
but I am trudging forward in the studio finishing up album cuts. If you haven't heard by now, "Margaritas Make Babies" is out
and on the streets! It will go up on iTunes and be distributed to radio soon. "Out On the Scene" is almost done too.
It will be nice to have a punchy two steppin' song out again. Also, we have decided to add a live version of "When You Leave"
with the alternate version included on the cd, in addition to the radio single version. If you haven't heard that one performed live,
you don't know what you are missing - ha ha!!!

Oh Mexico...
Just got back from a very much needed vacation on the blue waters of Southern Mexico.
It's a little tough to get back into that "work" mode when you've been playing for a few days, but I am ready to rock again.
"Margaritas Make Babies" needs a couple more cuts laid down on it and then it's ready for final mastering.
"Out On the Scene" is right behind it and "When You Leave" will follow. Stay tuned...

Catch Me If You Can...
I was just glancing at the schedule with all the new shows loaded and a thought occurred to me - I have a day job too!
I am playing as much as a touring musician that does this full time - except that I am just playing locally. So anyway,
I am everywhere these next couple of months. Come and see me if you get a chance...

Busy Times
I just looked at my previous show schedule on the website and realized that I have done 20 shows in the last two months.
Whew! That's on average 4 to 5 shows per week when I don't have the kids! No wonder I am tired. lol!
